Questions about the appointment

It's reasonable to want to understand what an appointment involves before you book. Useful questions include what a first visit typically includes, how the assessment is carried out, and whether any specific preparation would help.
You might also ask how the practitioner decides whether care is appropriate and what happens if it isn't — so you know what to expect regardless of the outcome.

Questions about treatment preferences

If you have preferences about treatment — for example, a concern about a specific technique, or a preference to discuss options before anything is done — it's worth raising these in advance or at the start of the appointment.
Care should reflect your individual circumstances and preferences. Asking about how preferences are handled can help you feel more comfortable before you arrive.

Questions about fees and insurance

Clear pricing helps you plan. Useful questions include the cost of an initial and a subsequent appointment, whether the clinic offers direct billing to your insurer, and what you should confirm with your plan before visiting.
Direct billing does not necessarily mean your full appointment cost is covered. Asking about eligibility, remaining benefits, and any claim requirements before your visit can help avoid surprises.

Questions about choosing a practitioner

If the clinic has more than one chiropractor, you might ask about their backgrounds and approaches to decide who's the best fit for you. Both of Manning's chiropractors bring more than 25 years of experience, but their individual interests differ.
If you're unsure, the clinic can help guide you. There's no wrong answer — the goal is to choose the practitioner you feel most comfortable seeing.
